Infomedia recruits experienced profile as new CEO

The largest provider of media intelligence solutions in the Nordics, Infomedia, appoints Martin Ove Rasmussen as Group CEO as of 2 January. He joins Infomedia after more than 20 years as the director of the media agency Mindshare, which he helped establish and successfully build.

The Infomedia group has approximately 200 employees in offices in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Estonia. They develop and advise on media intelligence solutions, including media monitoring and analysis across media and platforms – locally and internationally.

Infomedia is jointly owned by JP/Politikens Hus and Berlingske Media. Since its establishment in 2002, the company has expanded its business organically and through acquisitions, including Opoint in 2018 and M-Brain’s Norwegian and Swedish media monitoring activities in 2019. In 2022, Infomedia also invested in the tech startup company MediaCatch.

The position became vacant after the former CEO, Thomas Vejlemand, stepped down in October, after which CFO Kate Wichmann served as the acting CEO. The Infomedia board consists of CEO Martin Ove Rasmussen and CFO Kate Wichmann.
