Infomedia won AMEC Silver for measuring social media results for DSB and AMEC Bronze for our work on destigmatizing mental illness in the media for ONE OF US – The National Effort to Destigmatize Mental Illness.
At DSB, SoMe & Content Manager Alexander von der Wehl Mikkelsen talks about their SoMe score from Infomedia, which is a continuous measurement unit that covers the company’s efforts on owned social media:
– “With Infomedia’s SoMe score and the monthly analysis, we get our finger on the pulse of what works well and what doesn’t. We get concrete initiatives that we can work on and implement directly. We get a real number with the SoMe score and can say internally, “This is where we need to focus.” In this way, everyone can see the strategic value of our work, which is worth its weight in gold for us.
Anja Kare Vedelsby explains that the collaboration has contributed to the media coverage of mental illness becoming more positive and that the proportion of mentions referring to where people with mental illness can find help has doubled in just a few years:
– Infomedia’s analyses have provided documentation that we have been able to use as a starting point for the dialogue about stigmatization in the media. Our starting point is that no one stigmatizes on purpose, but we draw attention to the problem, and the analyses have played an essential role in this.
