In the spring of 2023, Thomas Vejlemand decided to step down as CEO of Infomedia by the end of 2023 at the latest. After a successful handover, the company's CFO Kate Wichmann has taken over the role as interim CEO from October.

“As we communicated in the spring, Thomas has decided to leave Infomedia. We agreed that Thomas would continue as long as it made sense for Infomedia and at the latest until the end of the year. We have been very happy with the work Thomas has done since then, and we have come a long way with the agreed projects. Together, we have decided that now is the right time to hand over the responsibility. I am very pleased that Kate has agreed to take over the role as CEO until a new leader for the position is found, which we will announce as soon as we are in place,” says Infomedia’s Chairman of the Board Anders Heering

Kate Wichmann joined Infomedia in 2018 and has more than 30 years of experience from the media industry with management positions at Egmont and Gyldendal. She is also a board member of Infomedia’s subsidiary Opoint A/S, as well as a board member of the tech start-up MediaCatch ApS, which Infomedia acquired in the summer of 2022.
