Infomedia and Retriever join forces

Infomedia Group is merging with Swedish Retriever Group strengthen their presence in media monitoring and intelligence. The ambition is to create the necessary scale to continue to be able to offer competitive products to our customers.

The companies operate in a market that is constantly changing through new technologies and global competitors. Through a merger, we will be even better equipped to invest in development and technology to continue to offer quality products in media analysis. With this, we create the right conditions to be able to provide our customers with monitoring and insights in a dynamic media landscape that is affected by social media, fake news, and new AI solutions.

In the merger, a new holding company will be created, jointly owned by Infomedia’s current owners, JP/Politikens Hus and Berlingske Media, and Retriever’s owners, the Swedish news agency TT and the Norwegian news agency NTB.

In conjunction with the merger, Robert Söderling will be appointed CEO of the new company and Martin Ove Rasmussen will join the executive management team.

The merger took effect Friday, June 28th, 2024.
