Business Intelligence Specialist

Do you value being able to immerse yourself in data? Are you interested in using data and insights to optimise and support operational actions and business decisions?

We are looking for a new colleague with a good understanding of data and a keen analytical mind to join our Tech team. Are you the one we are looking for?

Your role

You will play a pivotal role in our company, overseeing the continued development of the BI landscape and Qlik applications across teams throughout our Nordic business. You will be part of our technical department and have a unique opportunity to be involved in projects from A-Z, which typically involve everything from needs assessment, scoping, investigation of data sources, to development, testing, and implementation.

Specifically, your tasks will be to…

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Qlik.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear and compelling business insights.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements.
  • Optimize data models and load scripts for performance and scalability.
  • Monitor BI tool performance and troubleshoot data/reporting issues.
  • Support end-users with training and documentation.
  • Support and contribute to integration work between Qlik and other platforms, systems, or data sources (e.g., CRM, Data warehouse, APIs).

We would like to hear from you, if you...

  • Have 2+ years of experience in BI development with a strong focus on Qlik.
  • Are proficient in scripting, data modeling, and set analysis in Qlik.
  • Have experience connecting and transforming data from various sources (e.g., SQL, Excel, APIs).
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understand data warehousing principles and ETL processes.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Valuable skills, but not a prerequisite

We would consider it a bonus, if you have experience in any of the following areas:

  • Hands-on experience with integration between Qlik and third-party systems (e.g., HubSpot, Business Central, REST APIs).
  • Are familiar with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis.
  • Understanding of GDPR and data privacy practices.

What we offer

  • We are an exciting and expanding workplace with offices located across the Nordic region.
  • An attractive position that offers both personal and professional development.
  • A rich, professional environment and supportive colleagues who are always willing to help.
  • A company with high spirits, many social events, and monthly Friday bars. You will feel welcome and experience our special sense of community from day one.
  • Flexible work setup (remote/hybrid possibilities).
  • A unique location in the heart of Copenhagen with a view of the Round Tower.
