The position and your responsibilities
As a System Administrator, you report to the Head of IT Operations in Copenhagen. You are part of an international IT operations team of approximately ten colleagues. The team collaborates closely, and tasks and projects are distributed based on know-how and interests.
Being a System Administrator in Infomedia means you will be co-responsible for the IT architecture, support, maintenance, and operation of our Danish product platform, which must be up and running 24/7.
The platform consists of cloud applications, VMs, and barebone installations. As a team member, you will share the responsibility for tasks such as:
- Maintain and support IT platform and applications:
- Participate in on-call 24/7 duty rotation. 1 Week a month with approximately 1-2 calls a week.
- Maintaining on-site, private cloud, and public cloud infrastructure. Windows and Linux servers. Mainly on-site and private cloud.
- Architecture internal server infrastructure.
- Monitor production infrastructure, internal infrastructure, and development systems. Resolving incidents.
- Oversee and maintain Backup solutions.
- Infrastructure applications (databases, message queue systems, load balancers, etc.)
- Patch management.
- Network, DNS, security certificates, domain ownership.
- Maintenance and office IT support:
- Asset management.
- User administration.
- Deployment of PCs.
- Office network.
- IT Security:
- Anti-virus, firewall, spam filter, secure DNS, ransomware protection, etc.
- Keeping up to date on trends and developments.
- Economy:
- License management (users and servers).
- Assist in processing invoices.
In addition, being part of the IT Operations team, your role will involve providing crucial office support to your colleagues. We are assisting approximately 220 colleagues within our Nordic organization. We manage and maintain a standard office domain with Office 365, Microsoft Entra, and Azure login integrations with CRM systems, client deployments, etc.
Your typical workday will be engaging and diverse. It will typically involve a stand-up meeting with the team, focused work on a project or task, collaboration with stakeholders, and providing support as needed. You will generally have a wide range of internal contacts and stakeholders, and occasionally, you may also visit our IT Development teams in Norway, Sweden, and Estonia.

- Are an all-round IT generalist with at least 3 years of experience with system administration. Your educational background is of less importance.
- Have solid experience with on-premise infrastructure and some experience with Microsoft Active Directory (and possibly Entra and Intune).
- Are open to working with Microsoft Cloud solutions, Linux, and Windows VMs. Prior experience in at least one of these solutions is a great advantage.
- Can communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
- Enjoys helping people.
- Wants to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Are a problem-solver who pays attention to detail and likes new challenges.
- Can understand, investigate and describe problems and find suitable solutions.
